Apostolic Church

During the Welsh Revival of 1904-05, over 100,000 people became Christians. Various church groups emerged from this revival and in 1916 the Apostolic Church came into being.

It is a Pentecostal denomination with a strong commitment to mission. The early church leaders had a vision to ‘Belt the Globe’ with the Gospel. Today, there is an AC presence in almost 100 nations of the world with an estimate global membership of 15 million people. ‘Actionoverseas’ is the overseas missions arm of the ACUK.

The ACUK is a family of approximately 100 churches across the home nations. Our central administration and finance office is presently located in Luton.

Our National Leader is Pastor Ivan Parker, a position he assumed in 2020. Ps Ivan is located in Llanelli, Wales and leads the National Leadership Team comprising five other ACUK Apostles. They provide oversight for the national church.

The Apostolic Church is a single charity and centrally governed (charity number: 284789). Oakwood Church is one expression, or ‘branch’ of the charity
